Its sufferers' obsession with what they capriciously judge offensive speech is not only unhealthy but dangerous — especially during a public health emergency. Researchers and medical providers should be focused first and foremost on discovering and administering effective medicines, not whether what or how they're doing or talking about it might offend somebody's hair-trigger sensibilities. If a virus has Chinese origins, for example, they must be free to fully explore and discuss those Chinese origins. That's not racist. It's just common sense.
Of course, common sense is about as useful to liberofascists as crucifixes are to vampires.
